For the first time since 2014, Scribendi was named a Pacemaker award finalist by the Associated College Press in the category of literature and arts magazines. Each year, the ACP evaluates hundreds of collegiate newspapers, magazines, and other media from schools across the United States, selecting the strongest publications in each category to celebrate. According to executive director Laura Widmer, “The Pacemaker is the association’s preeminent award…ACP is honored to recognize the best of the best.” Scribendi’s 2020 edition was one of only 28 finalists from both two- and four-year institutions across all fifty states. Congratulations to the staff of the 2020 edition of Scribendi for this remarkable achievement!
