2008 Staff Awards

In addition to publishing the winners of the Western Regional Honors Council (WRHC) Contest, each year the Scribendi staff recognizes other works of particular merit with the Staff Choice Awards. The Scribendi Staff Choice Awards consist of recognition in the magazine and are awarded by a majority vote by the staff. This year, no Staff Choice Award was given in the Digital Art category.

The Editors' Choice Award recognizes one work of special merit in content or technique that was not recognized by any of the other awards. It is chosen by the editorial staff and consists of recognition in the magazine. This year, the editorial staff chose two awards in poetry.
